Theme park discounts women miniskirts, Theme park offers discounts to girls wearing miniskirts, A resort in southern China is being criticized after reportedly offering discounts to women who come to its theme park wearing miniskirts. Reps from the park say the promotion helps encourage women to show off their beauty during the summer.
Theme Park Discounts Women Miniskirts Get Half Price Entry On 15 Inch Minimum, A theme park in China has stirred anger with its discounts to women wearing miniskirts to visit the resort and golf club, promising the ladies half price entry for proper short length or 15 inches or less.
The Guilin Merryland Resort in Guangxi has promised half-price entry to women whose skirts measure 15 inches or less, and there are employees with rulers to ensure the proper skirt length, adding that shorts and dresses don’t count.
“The stipulation aims to encourage female visitors to showcase their beauty in summer,” Li Wenxing, deputy manager of the park, told Shanghai Daily.
Coincidentally (or not) a water-splashing festival is taking place at the park during the mini-skirt campaign.
Not surprisingly, as the paper reports, locals are a bit hot and bothered by the promotion, with residents believing it encourages “erotic” behavior and vulgarity all in the name of making money.
This isn’t the first time a Chinese event attracted women with unique discounts. Last year, virgins were offered free entry into the Zhouluo Wild Osmanthus Fragrans Festival.
