Kim Kardashian's Ex Kris Humphries Motivated by Boos, To all the Kris Humphries haters, New Jersey Nets coach Avery Johnson has a simple message: "Keep booing him." Amid a chorus of jeers, Kim Kardashian's ex-husband led his team to a big 90-84 win on Monday over the Washington Wizards in the season opener.
Humphries, 26, who got a taste of the boo-birds in the preseason, wants to respond on the court to the mocking over his 72-day marriage to the reality starlet.
"To me, it's motivation," said Humphries after the game in Washington, The Record reports. "People are yelling at you, you know you have to go and perform, go and play hard."
Which is fine with Johnson, especially if it lifts Humphries to a night like Monday's, with 21 points and 16 rebounds.
"I'm trying to figure it out – what did he do?" says Johnson. "I'm serious. Maybe because I don't follow reality TV. I don't know all the ins and outs of it, but it's pretty hilarious to me. I don't know if they even know why they're booing him."
