Shanna Moakler calls khloe kardashian donkey, Could this be the next big celebrity feud?
While appearing on Tuesday's episode of "The Wendy Williams Show," Shanna Moakler took aim at reality TV star Khloe Kardashian, calling her a "donkey," reports E! Online.
Not surprisingly, Kardashian, who recently married basketball star Lamar Odom, fired back via Twitter shortly after with a more passive-aggressive response.
"Who is shana moakler???," tweeted the reality star. "I have no idea who this girl is but I guess she is talking about me. Talk on honey… I can care less LOL."
Moakler, best known for the MTV show "Meet the Barkers" with ex-husband Travis Barker, was on "Wendy Williams" to promote her new make-up line and to announce that she is returning to her post as co-executive director of the Miss California pageant.
Shortly after the show aired, though, Moakler seems to have realized her mistake.She took to Twitter as well, writing a quick apology to Khloe.
"We don't know each other personally and I apologize for my comment this morning," Moakler wrote.According to Us magazine, Moakler, who was Miss USA in 1995, said the comment was just "gossipy." I feel really bad," the 34-year-old told the mag. "It was just an off-the-cuff statement."
However, she went on to say that, "it's not a big secret that the Kardashians and I don't really get along. I don't care. Indeed, it's hardly the first time that Moakler has taken a swipe at the Kardashian clan.
In an interview last year, Moakler dissed Khloe's sister Kim — referring to her, too, as a "donkey."
Moakler told TheDirty.com that she was at a BBQ hosted by Carmen Electra when, "I saw what I thought was a donkey posing on the stairs but much to my surprise it was Kim Kardashian. No wait, it was a donkey!... She was wearing a sarong to cover her huge big ass!
Moakler believed Kim had been been trying to contact her then-husband, Barker. Moakler says she threw her drink on Kardashian before leaving the party in a hurry.
But today she's singing a different tune, and insists that's she's truly sorry for her comments.
