"I'm really busy, so I don't think I'll be able to do it," the "Extra" co-host and season three runner-up told TVGuide.com. "I don't watch the show and didn't even watch when I was on it. My mom wanted me to do it."
Awww ... we bet his mom is disappointed. But is he really passing on the gig due to his schedule? After all, Lopez was the one who revealed -- on national TV in April! -- that "DWTS" was doing an all-stars season in the fall. Not only that, he dished that the folks behind the ballroom bash had already invited him to participate again. We're guessing his unofficial announcement didn't exactly please ABC, as the network likes to keep the cast list super hush-hush until the official reveal.Lopez added that he's unsure if he would be returning to the ABC reality series, saying: "I just don't know how I'd be able to pull it off."
ABC and Dancing with the Stars have not yet commented on Lopez's claims.
The dancing reality series is currently in the midst of its 14th season, with Gladys Knight being the most recently celebrity to be eliminated.
Roshon Fegan, Maria Menounos, Katherine Jenkins, Donald Driver, Melissa Gilbert, Jaleel White, and William Levy are still in competition for the prestigious mirrorball trophy.
