Jen Schefft mae elizabeth - Three cheers for the girl power taking over Jen Schefft Waterman’s house!
The Season 3 Bachelorette and her husband Joe Waterman already have a 20-month-old daughter named Mae Elizabeth, and today Jen tweeted the good news about Mae’s little sister: “Our little Charlotte Grace Waterman was born 7/31/12 weighing 8lbs 3oz! She is a doll and we couldn't be happier!”
Congratulations! We love the names Mae and Charlotte — classic and old-fashioned in a good way. As another hot Bachelorette mom, Trista Sutter, tweeted about the news, “CONGRATS mama!!!!!”
It’s great to hear the Chicago gal is doing so well. Jen was the original Emily Maynard in that she “won” Andrew Firestone’s Bachelor Season 3 but when they broke up, Jen was tapped to be The Bachelorette. That didn’t go so well — she kind of became the original Brad Womack in basically not choosing anyone, she just went about it in a different way. But then Jen met Joe on a blind date in 2008, got married in 2009 and had baby Mae in 2010. Sometimes fairy tales just take a detour before they come true.
